Thailand and I 🩷

Hey everyone,

I just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for you support on my blog and instagram so far! 🩵

In todays blog, I will be talking about a few of my personal experiences in Thailand and chat a bit about why Thailand is a place very important to me.

21 years ago, my grandad came across a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy a bar, restaurant and guesthouse in Thailand. My grandparents made the decision to embark on this new journey together and moved to Thailand full time. Their business is now known as "Nicky's Bar" which is located in Pattaya City, on Soi Buakhao. This is a very busy area for locals and tourist and it is renowned for it's vibrant night life.

My first trip to Thailand was with my parents when I was 6 months old, since then, I have visited the country almost 30 times with my parents and younger sister! When I was young, my family mostly travelled to Thailand over the winter months as it was still hot and sunny there and it also allowed us to spend Christmas with our grandparents.  This time of the year is also Pattaya's "High Season" which meant that a lot of English and Irish tourists were visiting at that time and this allowed us to arrange to meet up with family and close friends who have travelled at that time too. Thailand has a tropical climate which means that it is warm all-year round, however they do have a rainy season which generally runs from May to October.

Aside from enjoying family time and catching up with friends, my family and I like to visit places like The Tiger Park, Nong Nooch Elephant Farm, and many of the beautiful islands Thailand has to offer. One thing about the country is that there is always something new and exciting to do or place to go. I have included some pictures from these locations throughout my blog 🩷

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Comment below and go check out my instagram for updates and more photos if you haven't already 🩵
